In August 2012 African Management Services Company (AMSCO) client, Sanergy successfully launched its twelve week Leadership Development Programme (LDP).
Aimed at developing the company’s young talent, the programme was formulated to help Sanergy’s junior staff realise their leadership potential. A total of seven graduates benefited from the company’s first programme.
Through the ATMS Foundation, AMSCO has invested US$ 10,000 into the programme. “Through AMSCO's support, Sanergy's junior staff have been given the opportunity to learn management and leadership techniques they may not have had access to until far later in their careers,” says Sanergy Co-Founder, Ani Vallabhaneni.
He added, “Many of the trainees reported that the training was the first time they had been asked to do self-discovery to find out their strengths and areas for development. This self-awareness has empowered them to work in greater harmony with their teams. For Sanergy as a whole, the growth of these young leaders will contribute greatly to our mission of building sustainable sanitation through the years.”
