Portal and print publication, Welcome to Angola won the Award for Best Services Provider 2014 during an awards ceremony at the 2014 Angolan International Tourism Fair held from the 9th to the 12th of October, 2014.
Organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Angola in partnership with the Luanda International Fair (FIL), the tourism event also known as “Bitur-Okavango 2014″ aims to boost domestic tourism and attract international partnerships by promoting the tourism and hospitality industry, travel agencies and natural attractions. Participants at this year’s event included Cabo Verde (Cape Verde), Portugal, South Africa, Mozambique, Spain and representations from Angola’s 18 provinces.
This is the second award won by Welcome to Angola since its presence at the Angolan International Tourism Fair; the first was received at the first edition, in 2012, also in the category of Best Services Provider to the tourism sector.
