AI Enterprise Launches The State Of The Art Factory
AI Enterprises Malawi, on March 2011 launched the US$ 1 million state of the art biscuit factory in Malawi. The promising factory that will eventually provide employment for 150 Malawians impressed the President of Malawi who also attended the launch. In a speech delivered by the project promoters, AMSCO and the UNDP were highly commended for the support they gave to AI Enterprises.
The AMSCO expert Manager seconded to the factory helped AI Enterprises to plan, build and test the manufacturing line and guided the organization in the recruitment and training of staff.
Further financial support has been granted by the ATMS Foundation amounting to US$26,250 towards the finalized training plan, which will transform staff to a workforce that is capable of manufacturing biscuits to accepted international standards.
