Mr. Morne Deetlefs, an AMSCO Manager seconded to Innscor Kenya Ltd has exceeded expectations in turning around Innscor Kenya Limited, a company operating in the Fast food, Convenience and Bakery sector. Innscor owns and runs fast food, bakery and convenience retail outlets in Nairobi and Mombasa, under the following brand names: Pizza Inn, Chicken Inn, Galitos, Creamy Inn, Bakers Inn, Vasilis and My Shop.
Deetlefs responsibilities included overall business strategy development and execution, financial performance of the company, human capital development and the development of distribution channels.
Outstanding achievements include 78% revenue growth for the company and profitability that grew by 150%. The company has contributed directly to the creation of an additional 284 new jobs with over US$ 1million more being paid out in salaries. Innscor also spends over US$ 2million per annum to purchase goods and services from local suppliers, further creating and supporting employment creation on its supply chain.
