Building Sustainable Business Enterprises Through Leadership Training
In a bid to assist African businesses to become more competitive, profitable and sustainable, AMSCO organized a leadership forum for its managers and clients in Nigeria on the 24th and 25th of February 2011.  The event successfully took place at Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel, Victoria Island under the theme, Leadership: Building Sustainable Business Enterprises.

Not only did the event bring together managers and clients of AMSCO, but also key stakeholders such as the IFC, the UNDP and other UN agencies, the AfDB, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Planning Commission of Nigeria as well as the CEO and Managing Director of AMSCO, together with key regional staff. Delivered by a seasoned Business Edge Franchisee (Mr. Peter Bamkole, CEO of EDS, Lagos business school) who was identified by the IFC and AMSCO, the success thereof was not surprisingly an unqualified one which came out quite strongly in the post training evaluation of participants. The 2 day event was fully sponsored by the ATMS Foundation.
